An OEM remote control mower program lets a distributor or established brand sell radio-controlled mowers under its own name without owning a factory. RCVIX designs and manufactures remote control mowers in China and runs an OEM program for distributors, rental fleets and outdoor-power brands worldwide. This page explains what the program covers, what you can customize, the typical MOQ and lead times, and the quality system that protects your brand once the machine carries your name.

What an RC mower OEM program is

OEM (original equipment manufacturer) means we build our existing remote control mower platforms and apply your brand, livery and packaging. You own the go-to-market, the support relationship with the end user, and the brand equity. We own the engineering, tooling, supply chain and production. It is the fastest route to a branded RC mower line because no new product development is required — you start from a proven, field-tested machine.

OEM fits distributors entering the RC mower category, rental companies building a branded fleet, and outdoor-power brands extending their catalogue without capital investment in manufacturing.

What you can customize

The depth of customization is the main difference between a generic import and a program that feels like your product:

Element Options you can specify
Brand plate & decals Your logo, model name, color scheme, plate material
Deck type Flail or rotary; cutting width 500–1000 mm
Power source Gasoline or hybrid; engine brand options
Remote & range 2.4 GHz standard; function set and line-of-sight range
Packaging & manual Your box, your manual language, your spare kit

Because RCVIX owns the tooling and bill of materials, these changes are routine production variations rather than bespoke engineering projects, which keeps cost and lead time predictable.

How the RCVIX OEM program works

  1. Brief: share your use case, target market, expected volume and any required marks (CE / UKCA / FCC).
  2. Sample: order 1–3 units to validate on your own sites before committing to volume.
  3. Spec: confirm deck, power, remote functions and livery for your program.
  4. Pilot: a small batch (20–50) proves supply consistency and your support workflow.
  5. Volume: move into recurring purchase orders with agreed lead times and priority line access.

OEM MOQ, lead time & pricing

Stage Typical quantity Lead time
Sample 1–3 units 15–25 days
Pilot batch 20–50 units 30–45 days
Volume PO 50–100+ per model 45–60 days after spec lock

Pricing is quoted per configuration and volume tier. Because we manufacture in China, a like-for-like machine typically prices 30–55% below a European-built equivalent before freight. Tooling changes add time but are amortized across the order.

Quality system & certifications

Your brand rides on the machine, so the quality system is the product. Every unit passes three gates:

  • Incoming QC on engines, hydraulics, remotes and batteries before assembly.
  • In-process checks for track tension, welds, harness routing and hydraulic pressure at station.
  • Final test on a rig: drive, cut, remote range and e-stop on every unit.

We prepare CE / RED marking documentation and can support UKCA and destination-specific paperwork. Build records are kept per batch for traceability and inspection reports can ship with your order.

Branding, packaging & documentation

For an OEM program we deliver a turnkey, brand-ready machine: your plate and decals applied, your retail box, your multi-language manual, and a spare kit matched to your service model. We can also prepare the commercial documents your customs broker needs under EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP Incoterms.

Checklist: prepare before starting an OEM partnership

  • Your brand assets: logo files, color spec, model naming.
  • Target markets and the certification marks each requires.
  • Estimated annual volume and first order quantity.
  • Preferred deck, power and remote configuration.
  • Manual languages and packaging direction.
  • Service model: who stocks spares and handles warranty in your market.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is OEM the same as private label?
A: They overlap. In practice OEM here means we build our platform with your brand and livery; private label is the same turnkey result under your name. Both start from a proven RCVIX machine.

Q: What is the minimum order?
A: Samples can be 1–3 units; volume OEM typically starts around 50–100 units per model, with pilot batches of 20–50 in between.

Q: How long until I can sell?
A: A sample ships in 15–25 days; a pilot in 30–45; a volume PO in 45–60 days after the spec is locked.

Q: Can you match my existing brand colors?
A: Yes — plate, decals and box can follow your color scheme and logo.

Q: Which certifications do you support?
A: We prepare CE / RED documentation and can support UKCA and market-specific marks. Confirm exact requirements per market before ordering.

Q: Do you provide spare parts?
A: Yes. Spare kits, wear parts and technical documentation are available; most distributors stock spares locally.

Q: Can I change the deck or power later?
A: Configuration is confirmed per program; changes between batches are possible with a short re-spec and lead-time adjustment.

Q: How are shipments handled?
A: We support EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP (where local rules allow) and can recommend forwarders and prepare customs documents.
