Application
Cut wet, steep banks between water and land from the crest of the levee — no crews sent down the slope.
RCVIX remote control mowers let water authorities and bank maintenance crews cut steep grassed slopes between water and land while the operator remains on the crest. The tracked chassis and low ground pressure hold soft, wet banks that wheeled machines cannot, and the flail deck takes down tall reeds and rough growth in one pass.
This application targets levees, flood dykes, drainage channels and reservoir banks where vegetation must be cut on a fixed schedule ahead of flood season, and where sending crews down the slope is the main safety risk.
Input: Wireless remote control from the top of the bank. Operating conditions: grassed levee slopes and channel banks. Expected effect: the full bank face is cut without anyone descending the slope.
Input: Tracked chassis with low ground pressure. Operating conditions: soft, moist bank soil after rain. Expected effect: fewer shutdown days caused by ground conditions.
Input: Flail deck at full throttle. Operating conditions: tall grass, reeds and seasonal overgrowth. Expected effect: heavy growth cut in a single pass before it collapses.
Input: One operator per machine, repeated runs. Operating conditions: fixed pre-flood cutting windows. Expected effect: the whole bank network cut on plan, not on availability.
Typical deployment contexts:
RCVIX tracked remote control mowers work the bank face while the operator controls them from the crest of the levee. Low ground pressure and a flail deck handle wet grass and tall reeds, and the emergency stop protects the watercourse. Cutting stays on schedule ahead of flood season.

No footing required on the slope itself
